We’re looking forward to seeing you all at our next Get Together. Come and join us from 5.30-7pm for a drink, a discussion and the chance to meet some experienced Change Management friends.

Our new venue is the swish contemporary meeting rooms at Staite Hennigsen Klein at Level 11, 520 Collins Street Melbourne ( http://www.shk.com.au )… thanks to the generous hospitality of Andrew Staite.

We’ll be tackling one of the critical issues for experienced change managers – how to find the right job. We’ll have a client, a recruiter and a change director to kick off the discussion with their perspectives on who the right person for the job might be. And of course, you’ll be giving your personal perspective on how to work out whether it’s the right job for you…

At our Get Together last night we stepped up to the challenge of introducing ourselves as change managers….and practised a bit of “speed networking” too!  The outcome was not only a lot of new friends, but an insight about the wide range of ways that we can explain what we do.  Thanks to all for contributing!

Finally, here it is, the  report from the survey you so generously contributed to. Thank you.  Any questions, please leave a comment or contact us through Linkedin.

[update] we’re struggling to attach a documen to the worpress platform. Anybody got any suggestions? In the meantime, we have posted the report on Jennifer’s blog here.

And advance notice – next catch up is July 16th at Softbelly again 5.30 – 7.30. More details to follow…

If you haven’t done the Change Management Professionals survey, then click here and it will take you to the survey we have distributed informally to our contacts.

It’s pretty quick one – but it gives us a good overview of the industry and issues you see important. It closes May 5th and we shall reveal the results at the Softbelly gathering (May 14th 5.30 -7.30). Then we shall post the report on this site.

We have just set up a Change Management Professionals group on Linkedin. A discussion has been opened on what might a change management professional network look like. Join the group and let us know your thoughts!

We are a small group of change management professionals who are interested in developing a community of like-minded people in Victoria. We think there is a need for an organised group of experienced change management professionals to connect with share experiences & thoughts. We see this as being a community of practice that supports, develops and enhances the profession of change management.

We are meeting on May 14th between 5.30 – 7.30 at the back bar of Softbelly, Little Bourke St, to start some conversations on how we can build a thriving network.

If you work in Change Management, HR, Communications, IT or Project Management, and you see some overlap come along! We have about 20 RSVpd so far, leave us a comment and let us know your thoughts…
